Developed in collaboration with Kinarya Gagas and built on 55+ years of Plan International’s community empowerment, the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) is a holistic 6-month program for students ages 13–17. Integrated with the globally recognized Duke of Edinburgh’s (TDOE) International Award, YLA combines social advocacy, entrepreneurship, and growth mindset learning.
Guided by dedicated youth mentors, participants complete three months of blended LMS learning and Eco-voluntrips before embarking on a transformative Leadership Camp to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Post-camp, the final 3 months focus on ongoing monitoring and progress maintenance to ensure mentees successfully secure their TDOE Bronze Award, while equipping them with lifelong values of green entrepreneurship and collaborative leadership.

5-Day NTT Leadership Camp
The capstone experience in East Nusa Tenggara where students present their business solutions directly to local farmers and communities.

Beyond the Classroom: Adventure Meets Purpose in NTT
Students will step out of their daily routines to experience the natural beauty and rich heritage of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Immersing directly with local farmers and marginalized communities fosters authentic empathy, allowing students to develop real-world solutions through Green Entrepreneurship—a rapidly growing global trend.
3-Month Digital LMS: An intensive online curriculum (Oct–Dec)
This program teaches the essential real-world skills—leadership, money management, communication, and environmental awareness—that students need to successfully complete their NTT Camp project.
